Variety: Cherry Berry Bubblegum Cheesecake
Parentage: Cherry Bubblegum (hemp/CBD) [2 females] x (Lemon Cheesecake x Strawberry Mamba)
Description: We grew out Cherry Bubblegum hemp seeds and fell in with its beautifully pleasant cherry-bubblegum aroma, so we had the flowers tested for potency, which came back with the numbers that were just above legal hemp, however we tested the dried buds after nearly 8 weeks in jars, rather than fresh, live buds weeks before harvest, so had we tested them while they were still live and ripe, they may have qualified as ‘hemp’. Regardless, the Cherry Bubblegum has such a wonderful aroma and a nice coat of resin that we couldn’t resist breeding with it. There were two phenotypes that stood out to us and since we couldn’t bring ourselves to get rid of one of them, we used both!
As for the father parent, we crossed two of our our rare and most highly aromatic and favorite cannabis hybrids together— Lemon Cheesecake and Strawberry Mamba. This cross, as expected, exudes an intoxicating blend of floral-cantaloupe and creamy strawberry cheesecake aromas- not super tart or nostril tingling like some berries or lemons can be, but a very pleasant and smooooth nose.
Combining the two, through the phenotypes you’ll find a complex yet simple blend of aroma profiles ranging from Cherry-berry to floral to bubble gum and cheesecake. 🤤 For those lucky enough to find a phenotype with all of them combined— WOW! 🤯
One can expect cannabinoid ratios with an extensive range from high to low on both ends (15:1 or 1:15), but most phenotypes will be around 1:1 or 2:1, etc.
