Description
The Gold King Thai female I used was very interesting for a Thai. It has a bisymmetrical, alternating structure instead of the floppy all over the place South East Asian structure associated with most Thai lines. The floral clusters at maturity turn a golden color which eventually has hues of purple and gold with slight dashes of red in the floral clusters. The flowers are highly resinous and sweet. Golden Thai is the combination of Gold King Thai with a red stemmed trait Pablos Gold male. The male presented red stems and traits that most would associate with Panama Red which is part of Pablos gold genetics, but a rare phenotype nevertheless. Golden Thai ended up yielding better than the mother and with slightly more size to each floral cluster. Golden Thai is a great source of early 70’s era Golden Thai Stick genetics, Panama Red, Colombian Gold and just a bit of 80’s Skunk (Cheese) to speed up the flower time.
95/5 Sativa/Indica Hybrid
Yield: Moderate
Sex: Regular
Photo-period: This strain can be grown indoor or outdoor, but flowers with genetic markers and is slightly photo-sensitive, meaning you have to know how to grow equatorial cannabis strains before attempting this strain. If grown above or below the 45th parallels outdoors in the southern of northern hemispheres you will need supplemental lighting in a greenhouse to finish this strain and strains which are not photo-sensitive.
Flowering Time: 11-16+ Weeks
