Capsicum annuum ‘Bulgarian Carrot’
The flavor of these 10,000- 30,000 scoville peppers are intense and fruity. The 3″- 4″ long fruits are orange and look just like a carrot. The 2′ tall plants produce massive amounts of fruit that have an abundance of seeds. The crunchy flesh adds color and sizzle to chutneys and salsas. Mature around 75 days from transplant. Peppers act as annuals in northern zones, but are truly a perennial plant in tropical, frost-free zones. This is one of our top 3 favorite pepper varieties. Full sun.
